अवघ्या ५ दिवसांपूर्वी मी एक व्हिडिओ केला होता. ज्यात म्हटलं होतं की, संसदेच्या या पावसाळी अधिवेशनात एका विधेयकात करण्यात आलेल्या सुधारणेवरून पुढच्या काळात पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींचं केंद्र सरकार UPI ट्रान्झक्शनवर पैसे घेणार किंवा ते सामान्य नागरिकांवर थोपवणार. त्यानंतर आजची बातमी अशी आहे, निवडक UPI व्यवहारांवर MDR लागू करण्याचा सरकारचा विचार आहे आणि डिजिटल पेमेंट इकोसिस्टमचा वाढता खर्च भागवण्यासाठी सरकार त्यासाठी पर्यायांचा शोध घेतंय. म्हणजेच काय तर सरकार UPI वर पुन्हा MDR लागू करणार याची चर्चा सुरू झाली आहे. बरं हे कसं समोर आलं आहे तर, अर्थ मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत येणाऱ्या डिपार्टमेंड ऑफ फायनन्शिअल सर्व्हेसेस (DFS) ने संसदीय स्थायी समितीला दिलेल्या उत्तरात ही माहिती दिली आहे.
